In Bruges

Probably not one for Lee cos it's fairly graphically violent in places but I really enjoyed it. I normally hate Colin Farrell but he's really good in this. Excellent dialogue and an interesting plot make for an intriguing character piece. Loved it.

Captain America

It was an enjoyable hero movie. Might have gotten more from it if I had read any comics though since the team the Captain broke out seemed like they would have had a lot of back story.

Shields are also surprisingly effective weapons.

If anyone's feeling neurotic, go onto http://www.icheckmovies.com and see if you can remember what films you've watched.

Not feeling Neurotic.

Saw Cowboys and Aliens the other week which was pretty much what I was expecting from it. An enjoyable space western, except the cowboys were actual cowboys and not space cowboys like in Firefly.

Anyway it was pretty cool, I do enjoy the odd western.

Submarine - ****

Wow, Wasn't expecting that. Great performance for the young lead.. Visually arresting. Frequently very funny.. and yet sometimes very bleak. Great sound track from Alex Turner too. Weird though as to regards the time frame.. it seems like a period piece in places but clearly isn't at other times.

Turned out to be a great third date movie.

I went to see John Carter earlier in the month.

I enjoyed it and have since downloaded and read the first book from http://www.gutenberg.org/

I don't think I would have discovered the story unless it had been made into a film and I also found out that my Grandad also read the story back in 1935 which was interesting for me.
